Description of Services:
My counselling and supervision licenses include: BC (RCC/ACS 14919), AB (CT 1892), PEI (CT 262), and National (CCC/CCS 3626, MPCC/RQS 4169).
I offer a practical, collaborative, and evidence-based approach to support individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, unresolved trauma, PTSD, and substance use. By integrating cognitive and somatic modalities, I blend CBT, DBT, CPT, and somatic tools to help you achieve long-lasting results and move from surviving to thriving. Your journey starts with a comprehensive biopsychosocial intake interview. Together, we will focus on practical strategies for immediate relief while safely exploring root causes and processing trauma to promote lasting recovery.
My work draws on over 20 years of experience across school programs, community mental health settings, addiction services, and private practice. My career has taken me from the Lower Mainland and Vancouver of British Columbia to Northern Alberta and back to my roots in Prince Edward Island. Along the way, I have lived and worked within Indigenous, East Indian, Asian, and rural Northern Canadian communities. These experiences have deeply enriched my cultural understanding and strengthened my ability to meet diverse populations, from high-risk youth to seniors, exactly where they are.
In addition to delivering long-term client counselling across AB, BC, and PEI, and offering services Canada-wide, I am deeply passionate about practitioner training. I founded my private practice, B3, to provide new and experienced therapists with genuine mentorship and robust clinical supervision. I designed these services to eliminate the guesswork and isolation of early private practice.
