Description of Services:
Sarah is a dedicated and compassionate therapist committed to supporting individuals through life’s challenges with warmth, respect, and authenticity. She began her career in 2011 as a Social Worker within PEI’s provincial systems, including child and family services and disability assessments, before returning to complete her Master’s in Counseling Psychology in 2020. She then joined the team at Serene View Ranch, where she strengthened her therapeutic skills and developed a solid foundation in trauma-informed care.
Sarah is registered with the College of Counseling Therapy of PEI (#270), a member of the PEI Counseling Association, and serves as a member-at-large on the Gender Affirming Care Board of PEI. She is a committed supporter of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and works from an inclusive, client-centered lens. With training in a range of evidence-based approaches, she provides thoughtful, individualized care for those navigating mental health challenges, complex trauma, identity exploration, and significant life transitions.
Her work is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and respect for each person’s lived experience. Sarah tailors therapy to meet her clients’ unique needs, integrating strength-based and trauma-informed practices to support healing, resilience, and self-compassion. She continually pursues ongoing professional development, engages with community needs, and advocates for reflective, bias-aware practice.
Sarah is deeply committed to providing affirming care for gender-diverse, body-positive, and neurodivergent clients. She strives to create a therapeutic environment where individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.
In addition to her clinical work, Sarah is pursuing certification as a death doula through the Home Hospice Association in Prince Edward Island. In this role, she offers compassionate end-of-life support, including emotional care, advance planning, and communication assistance, helping clients and families navigate this deeply meaningful stage with dignity and clarity.
Sarah offers appointments in person and via Zoom, with flexibility to explore additional options when needed. Whether you are navigating everyday stressors or healing from deeper emotional pain, Sarah is honored to walk alongside you as you work toward the future you envision.
