Hello! I’m Judith—a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) and registered Counselling Therapist (PEI). I have over 35+ years in the field of education with the past 20+ years as a post-secondary counsellor in Ontario . I am passionate about personal and career development and helping individuals develop the “leader within”. I have extensive experience supporting young people, adults of all ages, students with accessible learning needs, and newcomers to Canada with their career and education planning, personal growth, and life transitions.
I bring a blend of counselling modalities built on listening, engaging, and relating to each client with empathy and care. My approach is client-centered, trauma informed, strengths-based, and solutions-focused blending a number of counselling practices including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, mindfulness techniques, and appreciative inquiry strategies. My goal is to help empower individuals with information and self-insight regarding personal strengths and gifts to help them plan for, and attain their personal and career goals while fostering personal well-being and resilience.
