Members of the PEICA meet rigorous standards for education and training and are held to the highest of ethical standards.

Counsellors of the PEICA attend to the emotional well being of people by applying principles and skills from the disciplines of mental health, psychology, or human development, by the use of cognitive, affective, behavioural or systemic interventions.

Counsellors serve in all level of our communities where a helping profession is required - at schools, universities, vocational colleges, hospitals, mental health agencies, rehabilitation facilities, business and industry, correctional institutions, religious organizations, community centres and private practice.
